CIA Event

CIA trip to the US Army Ranger Battalion Open House at Camp Merrill in Dahlonega, Ga. Grounds will open to visitors at 11 AM with demos and activities scheduled throughout the afternoon.
This is the one time a year that civilians are invited to enjoy an up close perspective of demonstrations of the training-in-action of our Rangers.Our CIA van will leave the church lot at 9:00 AM and, after a stopping for a late lunch,will most likely return to GHBC by 4-5 in the evening. We can only accomodate 15 for this event (small church van) so be sure to sign up early if you want to attend. Only 2 seats left available as of 4/29. Mothers Day Banquet
|
|

|
Sisters in Christ will once again host the Mothers' Day Banquet, this year with a TIMES OF YOUR LIFE theme. We're having a catered country style buffet, a short devotional, perhaps a song or two and of course games and prizes. We are featuring memory tables for any who want to share some memories from their lives...photos, memorbelia, awards, whatever you wish to bring to allow a peek into your or your family's life. Tickets are $10.00 for ages 13 and up, 5.50 children 6-12, 3.50 for tots 3-5, 2 and under free.
We will begin at 5PM. Sign up sheet in vestibule, tickets available from Carole Joyner, Lisa Almond or Sandy Owens. Please purchase your tickets by April 29, but do get your names on the sign up sheet asap so preparations can be made in a timely fashion.

Youth Car Wash
|

Fundraising car wash from 10:00AM-2:00PM on Saturday. Bring your cars in and have them cleaned by the young folks in the Youth Group. Any funds donated will go to the summer church camp fund which will help getting our kids into the church camp program. Young people have been saved during their camp week and have dedicated their lives to the Lord. So let's get those dirty autos in here and help our kids with their fund raising.
